Central Arizona Rainbow Education (C.A.R.E.) is an organization that serves the LGBTQ community in the rural areas of Central Arizona. Although most of our members are located in the city of Casa Grande, we are still looking to provide services to Pinal, Maricopa, Pima, and Gila Counties.

LGBT Night
September 25th 2010
Central Arizona Rainbow Education encourages interaction outside of the political spectrum. We definitely want to see the community involved with one another in non-political activities while spreading the word of the LGBT community's existence in Central Arizona. We have started a LGBT night which is held once a month on the last Saturday of each given month. On Saturday September 25th 2010, we as a community will meet at St. Michael and All Angels Liberal Catholic Church at 12:30pm. The physical address is 545 E. Palm Parke Blvd. Casa Grande AZ 85122. We should arive in Sedona no later than 3pm. As a group, we will help volunteer. We ask that all members of the LGBT community and our allies show up a little early. Be sure to be there so we can discuss next months fun as well. We will be discussing car pooling at our meeting on September 21st. If you are in need of a ride to Sedona make sure to attend this meeting.
TC Taylor's Time of the Month

Thanks to the wonderful TC Taylor, Central Arizona Rainbow Education (C.A.R.E.) will be hosting its second official fundraiser on Sunday September 12th at Apollos. The event will include some wonderful drag shows, give-a-ways, and information for the upcoming C.A.R.E. awards in December! We look forward to seeing you there. Have your dollars ready as all tips will help benefit C.A.R.E.! Those expected to perform include Diamond Dallas, Claudia B., Celia Self, Ace Masters, Mya McKenzie and TC Taylor!
Drag Night
November 6th 2010 @ 7pm
On Saturday November 6th 2010, Central Arizona Rainbow Education will be teaming up with Central Arizona College to help educate the local community about the art of drag. The event is free and for all ages to attend. The event will be taking place in the Cafeteria at 8470 N. Overfield Rd. Coolidge AZ 85128. We hope to see you all there!
Free HIV/AIDS Testing
November 16th 2010 @3pm
Central Arizona Rainbow Education, Central Arizona College, and the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation have teamed up for the first time. Together, we will be providing the community with free HIV/AIDS testing. The event will take place between the hours of 3pm and 6pm. Please feel free to stop by. Knowing whether or not you are positive can allow you to save yourself and others! The event takes place in the Community Room at Central Arizona College!
C.A.R.E.'s Monthly News
As of January 1st 2010, CARE has begun the distribution of their monthly newsletter. If you would like to be added to their list as a recipient of these letters, please contact us by clicking on the "contact us" tab. We guarantee that you will only be emailed on the 1st of every month therefore only receiving 12 newsletters a year. We truly understand the feeling of being overwhelmed by too much mail from a single source. In our newsletters, you will receive information regarding LGBT issues within rural areas of central Arizona as well as anything to do with CARE as we sometimes are in other areas of the state.
Central Arizona Rainbow Education is not the only LGBT supportive organization in Casa Grande. PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) has also recently started a chapter in the Casa Grande area.

Monthly Meeting
Central Arizona Rainbow Education will now meet on the Third Tuesday of each month. Our meetings take place at St. Michael's which is located at 545 E. Palm Parke Blvd. Casa Grande AZ, 85122. Our meetings are anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. The meeting begins at 8pm.
